I was trying to find out the reason behind using the 45 degrees with the tiled cubes. Initially it was for an efficient stable structure (as the forces not need to turn at joints to be transferred to the ground), it turns out it was easier for organizing the spaces within the structure.

Not in a sense about head height and dead spaces (if that was the case, then I would opt for a normal building form), but in regards to the formation of floor and ceiling heights, and its relation to the adjacent module, and the cube framing structure.
